Spock Got Game

Zachary Quinto stands near some arcade games and the cameras are there!

I don't know how much you pay attention to the advertising on game sites, but Stride-brand gum has been a constant for the past few years. Those guys behind Stride reeeeally want to reach the game-playing demographic. That's probably why the company is currently supporting a "save the arcades" campaign, where people can go to a site to play a pretty bad Flash game and donate the points they earn to one of four different arcades. The arcade with the most points at the end of the promotion wins $25,000... which I would immediately spend on Street Fighter IV or Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion cabinets.

Somehow Zachary Quinto of Star Trek fame got roped into all this and made an appearance at one of the four arcades. We were sent these shots of the appearance, which I felt compelled to post solely so I could pull a Jed Sanders and title something "Spock Got Game." Sorry.

They're all, like, playing Tetris and stuff!

"What are you talking about crazy pistol game? Don't you know who I am?"

I feel like this is some sort of weird before-and-after picture, but I can't figure out which is which.

The promotion ends on October 6. Meanwhile, feel free to come up with your own captions.
