The Adventures of Penny Arcade Resume Next Week

Those of you who have been standing on the drool-slick precipice of excitement can get down from there--Penny Arcade Episode 2 is out next week.

The hot-headed hotheads of Hothead Games have announced that the second installment of Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness will be available next Wednesday for your personal computers and for your Xbox 360.

Looks like they're going to time everything to the Xbox Live Arcade posting time of 1AM PDT.

Between a combat system that forced you to really pay attention to the action and the constant murder of hobos and mimes, I had a terrific time with the first episode and plant myself in the "dude, yeah" category for this next installment.

You might be a little less "dude, yeah" about all this if you're been hoping to play the game on a PlayStation 3. But that can all change for you this Thursday, as the first episode in the series will pop onto the PlayStation Network tomorrow. Hothead claims that they expect to have the second episode ready for PS3 owners before the end of 2008.

I considered picking the first part at PAX, I have been told its fun, but this damn WoW addiction keeps me from other games.

Its kinda sad...

I'd definitely check these out if they were cheaper.  As of right now, I just don't see myself paying 20 bucks or whatever for each installment of a downloadable game.

I downloaded and played the first episode for a bit, but I just can't get into the game.  I love the comic and share a lot of opinions of both Mike and Jerry, but the game is, sadly, not for me.

I played the demo of the first one and it was fun, but not 1600 points / $24CDN fun. At the rate they're going what won't even be a full retail game's worth of content is going to cost more than one.

I'll buy it when it's cheaper and bundled together.

They really need to confirm if the first one is going to get a price drop now that episode 2 is out and at a lower price.
