Since I discovered this through an ad on Gamespot, I don't know if this is old. The ad said something about the Animus, and I couldn't believe my eyes. I clicked it and it displayed a teaser trailer for Assassin's Creed 2.
It is not much, but it is something. And this means that we are to get some trailers pretty soon, hopefully.
Watch it and let the speculation begin.
(The DaVinci Code bullshit much?).
EDIT: Fucking typo.
Assassin's Creed II
Game » consists of 27 releases. Released Nov 17, 2009
The second installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise follows the life of Ezio Auditore da Firenze as he seeks revenge on those who betrayed his family.
HAHLOY SHIT IT'S A TEASER TRAILER!
I just ran across this at another site. What I found most interesting about it is at the end when it asks you replay it says Game Informer 04/16/09 backwards. So I guess this will be their big cover story next month.
Edit: My bad the US teaser Says Game Informer 04/16/09 backwards at the end. NOT the one linked above. You can see it here: http://assassinscreed.us.ubi.com/assassins-creed-2/teaser/
Looks interesting. But I will never again be persuaded by marketing. *Goes to play his DSi that's resting on top of his DS Lite*
"Why can't you just embed it? Me no clicky yu linky. No puwus foo u!"Because it's a fucking website, not a YouTube video you lazy ass. If it was a YT one, then I'd be in the same boat you are.
On topic, Assassin's Creed might be worth my time to play. As long as there are no more flag collecting achievements. Holy shit, collectibles? Never seen those before! Also, less tedious tasks.
I've never seen this ad either. And I also noticed it just today (I actually found this topic looking for info on the trailer in the game's wiki), so unless you and I were both oblivious, it is recent. It's strange that they would have an ad on it and no news story. And did you check out what happens when you click the button to the left while the trailer is playing? I've never had Flash Player ask for permission to use my camera and microphone before. It doesn't seem to do anything yet, all the tabs say "no data", but it'll be interesting to see what they do with this later.
Renaissance Italy. Or some time around there.
Wow that is really exciting. Has great potential. I enjoyed the first game unlike many. I loved the main quests, it was just the side quests that were really dull and pointless. Other than that though, I really enjoyed the combat and the climbing/running and jumping. That was a lot of fun.
Looks awesome. I loved the first(repetitive gameplay be damned) and I love that they are setting it during the Renaissance. I can't wait! ^__^
"Why did you link it more than once? Freaking me the fuck out."I freaked Karmum out. :'D

"Dude, no game takes place during this era. I'm psyched, and I didn't really like the original."My thoughts exactly! this is going to be AWESOME.
