Any guesses? I'm a big atlus fan and that cat looks similar to the one in Digital Devil Saga or Raidou Kuzunoha. The style def looks like a Shin Megami Tensei game, which I would be excited as hell about!
New atlus game from famitsu-Any guesses?
You can do a lot more with a 360 or PS3 than just graphics. A more realistic world is possible for one thing. I would like to see the world of Nocturne done as a fully navigable 3D environment. Even the persona school and labyrinth stuff could have gone further on better hardware.
I think there are untapped possibilities for RPGs on newer hardware, I just don't know who will be the first company to try them. Could you imagine an RPG using a physics engine in some kind of substantial way?
I have absolutely no problem with them being on PS2, but it's more an interest in what they could get out of the new hardware to enhance the games. Whether that means new additions gameplay wise or just an increase in the demons and fusion possibilities that's fine. For the games with random dungeons, a whole lot more can be added in for generating unique backgrounds with it as well.
So I'm with oraknabo on this one. There's just a lot of interesting things that could be done. Cause when you think about it, there really hasn't been that top grade RPG for the new systems at all yet. And personally, I would love to see Atlus continue to broaden it's influence by getting something substantial to fill that role before Square finally either A) gets FFXIII out or B) Finally releases a next gen RPG that doesn't leave you feeling like it's lacking in some form or fashion.
Hey! Maybe it's this?
"Confirmed as: "Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha Vs Avadon King" for the PS2."
