Dear JDM fans in the Giant Bomb forums!

This is an underrated arcade style, developed by Capcom Production Studio 1, which features cel-shaded graphics, inspired by Initial D and Wangan Midnight's art style, however, most internet users say the Gran Turismo series inspired the creation of the game because it features a similar roster of playable cars & tracks, plus performance upgrades.

From my experience with this game, the handling wise feels much like Driveclub rather than the Gran Turismo/Forza Motorsport series, because the cars feel more simple as they handle like 1/10th scale hobby grade radio control cars rather than the real cars.

Sidenotes:

• For Reiza Studios, they have a game that has similar name to this: Automobilista, but the gameplay-wise is totally different as the handling feels much like rFactor 2 rather than this.
• Anyway, in 2023, there is an anime called MF Ghost (Initial D sequel), the car models remind me of this game while the racing wise is a mixture of this and Driveclub.
