I have been in the top squad at least twice in all three maps and i still don't have the achievement. is anyone else having problems?

Yeah, not me personally but I read about someone else having the problem on the BF forums.

Hm, I got the achievement before I even knew what squads were.

thats weird, its frustrating when you go through all the trouble of being in top squad and not get it.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem too. It won't give it to me even though I have been in the top squads on all three maps multiple times.

You were in a squad right, not just in the top 5 players list for the game, because I've heard people say it unlocked for them when they were in that, not even knowing what a squad was.

Yeah I was in a squad when I got it, but I can't figure out how to make a squad. When I started playing I joined a squad that was already created, played for a few hours, then all of a sudden after a map I got the achievement.

I got a badge that says Top Squad, but alas not achievement. I checked Xbox360AchievmentPoints.org, and there's a long forum talking about the problem. A Dice employee says that they are looking into the problem.

The achievement unlocked for me when I wasn't even in a squad. Even though I had selected the Open Squad option. Yeah the game's not 100% yet.

I was able to get it, I was on a losing team 3 times straight and was in the top 3.

I've been in the top squad 5 times in a row now and haven't got it?

Oh, just had a look at the achievement page and it's all three maps at least once. Didn't realise that....

still haven't gotten it. I am just going to stop trying and maybe it will magically unlock one day. It seemed to unlock for the people who weren't trying to get it.  I'll let you know how that goes.

I just got this achievement without realising. I didnt even know i was in a squad.

found out how it unlocks, probably will copy and paste this information into the achievement page.  the achievement doesnt unlock by you being in a squad and being in the top squad.  you need to be 1 of the top 5 players on the map, for each map.  Once you do this once per map, be in the top 5 plays (the top box on the stat screen.  end of the game, press X or I guess...Square on PS3?, to check your rankings.  it's pretty easy to do personally because most people fuck around.  just do your job at least once per map type and get lots of flag caps and kills

It's glitched for some people.  I got the achievement and I haven't even been in a squad with someone yet.

I got it without even forming a squad.
Didn't even know what it was until afterwards.

The problem I have with this achievement is that I'm never getting into a Wake Island match, haha. I have no idea if I have completed it yet and it has bugged out on me, but I think it will just unlock eventually on the way to 100 matches. ;)

I got mine a few days ago and didn't try for its criteria at all. I was confused; maybe it is glitched? I am not sure but getting it was sweet. :P

I am having problems getting it too... I'm just gonna keep playing until it unlocks....

I just got mine. Unlocked during a fight, completely random. Oh well.

without knowing what squads are i got this achievement before unlocking the pacific campaign achievement, which is just plain winning each map...than the next time i turned the game on the next day pacific campaign unlocked without me even starting a match yet.  ya its not perfect lol

I've only ever been in top squad two or three times, and it unlocked randomly when I wasnt in top squad. Dunno, just keep playing it will probably come before Tour of Duty 1, if not, definately Tour of Duty 2
