Evening all, just thought I'd put out the word that a new update for Battlefield 2 will be coming out at some point.
EA haven't said when, or what it will contain, but I for one am pretty damn happy that they still care enough to put an update out.
I'll post more info when it hits...

Well they released an update for 2142, it added a Wake Island for 2142 and Operation Shingle which were both Community made maps so EA might think of getting the best Community maps for the patch.
I'm also hoping for new weapons but it's almost impossible -_-;;

Might draw me back in ;)

Well another player is just what the game needs, even though it's still highly populated, you're always welcome to get back into the war :P

I lost my cursed key! I don't think I will be able to recover my old account with all the unlocks as well, so I'll probably just leave it.

this game is great.

My guess is that they are doing this because of the pushed-backed release date for Heroes.

I had a look today (not greatly in-depth I'll admit) and couldn't see any more info about the update.  However, it's always a good time for Battlefield 2.

BWAHAHA...I had forgotten they were supposed to release an update for this game.  Did it ever happen?  I can't seem to find any info anywhere about it...

Huh? 1.5 is in public beta right now, you can go download it or wait for the final release. Does anybody know if 1.5 will add high resolution support? I might reinstall it if so, maybe finally try Project Reality. They'll probably be taking their sweet time with the final...

I want them to release this patch 1.5 already. I'm too wary to install a beta patch b/c I don't want to have to reinstall my game, but 1.41's incompatibility with Vista is causing problems for me with the game's stability.
