So far all I've seen is being able to rent weapons with the in-game currency.

When you go to purchase the weapon there is an option to pick the duration. 1 day,7 days, or permanent. Permanent is way more expensive tho.

I have no issue with F2P games, but i think that pricing your weapons this high is a bit insane. The in game currency is set very high in my opinion for the guns. I guess the Zen pricing is ok if you have the money to throw at it. But for the amount of cash you could potentially get a very good game of Steam or multiple ones from GOG for the price of a single weapon/custom weapon.

@pornstorestiffi: I've made it pretty well renting the guns in the game - I don't even understand the need to buy it permanently, tbh. I guess maybe if you're the type of player who jumps into a game every single day for hours on end, maybe the Zen purchases are for you, but if that's your play style - there are plenty of games out there with just a quick one-time purchase.

Maybe its just the concept of renting a gun in a game, thats a bit odd to me. I'm still new to the game, so i haven't felt the need to purchase anything yet. And i might never reach that point.

Which is EXACTLY why I hate most if not potentially all F2P models. It's ridiculous. On the flipside I have been enjoying this game for some reason. To me it's like purchasing weapons and equipment in CS with a persistent currency instead of a round based one, so it doesn't annoy me as much as it first did, once you get a lot of GP, having a barrel for the day for only 125 GP is totally fine. The next time I play it that will be gone and I'll spend the GP I earned with those parts and equipment on something totally different.

Now if only those awesome camo's wouldn't cost only Zen...

Good Counterstrike comparison, didn't think of it that way. That might help me get past the rental guns business in the game.
