    Overview

Blade Eagle is a Sega-developed vertically-scrolling shoot-em-up, created as one of a series of games to use the Master System's SegaScope stereoscopic 3D goggles to create an illusion of depth.

The game itself is a straightforward Arcade style shoot-em-up. The goal is to shoot down enemies as they drop from the top of the screen and then defeat a boss ship at the end of each stage.
