People have started receiving import copies for BB:CP so I decided it'd be a good idea if Giant Bomb members who were importing the game had a place to play others who were also importing the game. I should be receiving my copy tomorrow and I suspect a lot of people will since Play-Asia shipped my copy today via FedEx.

Play-Asia offers 1 day delivery? Should have went with them instead. Getting mine on Monday.

With FedEx, they report a 2-3 day delivery but most are fully expecting to receive the game on Friday based on when they shipped the copies. Only other time I ordered from them was when I imported P4A, which I received a day early or on release day.

Mine will be arriving sometime in the next 10 days... hopefully. They could have packed it in a bottle and threw it in the ocean. In which case I will be gone for awhile surfing up and down on the coast line.

I split on the digital version with a friend and got it downloaded today. In addition to the IRC If people wanna talk on mic while playing CP I have an informal FG Skype group going. @esrever or @irrelevantjohn can vouch for how informal it is. Voice chat does exist in game but not everyone owns a PS3 mic and the quality of Skype group call is much better. Also Extend had phantom mic issues!

Ordered it by EMS from CDJapan. Usually I just order by airmail and get things on Thursday/release day from them, strange that the more expensive method is taking longer. I'll probably have it by Monday/Tuesday, since the private company want a ransom of an extra £12 or they don't deliver on Saturdays.

@demoskinos: I think it's set for a release sometime in 2014, maybe Q1. I'm in the UK though, so I'd be importing either way since it'll take ages to get here.

Since I spent 95% of my playtime in CS outside of story mode, not being able to understand much doesn't bother me.

Got my copy earlier today. I'm really bad so I'm going to stick to practising for a while, though.

@demoskinos: Its coming sometime next year. Rumors have led us to believe that at the earliest, sometime in March. That's like a 5 month gap between NA release and JP release. Whereas previous versions were like a week or so apart from each other.

I really like BlazBlue, so I don't feel like waiting that long. This is the 2nd game I have imported. So yea, just impatience I guess.

So this is out in the US now, and while I'm technically importing it (Europe doesn't have a release date yet), I'd say the wider world has access to it now.

Anything I should be super aware of? I've not really played since a few months after CS extend was released, and while I'd normally be obsessively keeping up with changes, I've kinda lost track with this.

I was hoping P4A would tide me over, but I never really found a character that stuck as well as Tao did, so I'm also totally out of practice...

Any tips about getting back into it? And is anyone particularly broken this time around?

Yeah, though Kokonoe's supposed to be getting fixed before EVO with the new patch, right? I'm not aware of what the specifics were of it, though.

Yeah, it's likely that I'll be importing P4AU as well, unless it gets region locked again.

Yeah she's supposed to be nerfed (mainly her unblockables) but from what I hear she's still really good. Patch is in 2 months iirc.
