    Short summary describing this game.

Cardiaxx is a wave-based space shooter, boasting extremely fast and responsive gameplay as you scroll across large levels shooting waves of enemies. Unfortunately, several review magazines decried the wave-based gameplay as being very dull and frustrating, given the tight time limits on each level. The game was originally released by Electronic Zoo, who went bankrupt shortly after the game's release.

Team 17 re-released the game 2 years later, as a budget release. The Team 17 version of the game also made several changes to the game, such as doubling the number of levels and introducing an asteroid dodging mini-game played as new levels loaded in off the disk.
