I beat most of these bosses with complete ease, and then two normal guys continually defile my corpse. I'm talking about the wraiths near the Angel of Death. I've got a few tactics, and maybe it'll just be one of those "I quit last night from frustration but when I go back to it I'll defeat them with complete ease" scenarios. Main tactic so far is to run/boost around while charging the boomerang to fling at them, then as it grinds on one I go after the other and then run away from both, repeat. So far it does me pretty well until the third one pops up with the crapton of other dudes. But yea, I hate them. So much.

Just a quick question which has nothing to do with the game, did they ever come up with a name for that '' rage-quit + rest = victorious comeback'' scenario?
I think they've talked about it on the bombcast but I can't remember if they ever got a definitive name.
Anyone care to fill me in?

@MaFoLu: Hahaa, I was actually trying to remember if they named it when I typed that out. I think they did but I'm at a loss as to what it was. Is there a giantbomb lexicon somewhere?

@Juanmower: More importantly, how can you have zero posts when I clearly see one in front of me?

OT: Yeah, the wraiths are a bitch. I beat the stone monster in the Dark Throne for the first time about 2 months ago and haven't touched it since. There is a brutally hard fight afterwards (on Apocalyptic at least) just before (or after O.o) crossing the light bridge back to the ante-chamber.

@GetEveryone: Yea, my account is a damn enigma. Dave's been working on it. I beat the stone monster, stuck on that fight afterwards. Starts with 2 wraiths then another wraith and the fallen angel dudes and another larger guy. That fight is harder than any of the bosses I've fought thus far.
