     With flying cars, genetic engineering, robotics and other traditional sci-fi references scattered throughout, Deathrow may not sound like a sports game, but make no mistake - it certainly is.   If one wanted to dismiss this original Xbox title (backwards compatible with the 360 but not yet on the LIVE marketplace for electronic download), one might describe it as Tron discs meets basketball meets the WWF.   Though hell... for some that may be the height of praise.    Either way, the game does c...

    Such good memories of this game, tried it again 2 weeks ago and it aged very well (thanks to the OG Xbox hardware).Published by Ubi Soft in 2002 this game was one of the first Xbox games i bought. For some reason the boxart attracted me (not the image that is shown on this page). The mix of future sports and hand to hand combat has found its sweet spot in Deathrow.     back in 2002, you could make a game like this and get away with it. Combat and Frizbee golf. That is fantastic in an of itself, but what really makes this a great game are the different teams, each with their own respective play style, whether it be hard fists or fleet footing.There are unfortunately, two main views and the default settings have set this game up for failure.
