I picked up the Ultimate Edition off of Steam and I went to the installed section of the DLC in the menus and noticed that everything is marked Unauthorized except for Awakening. So, what the fuck is this about? I went to the Bioware site and used the cd key to register the game and it still doesn't do anything. I also used the DLC key in the redeem promo page but all the installed content still says unauthorized. Not sure what I'm supposed to be doing, and I'm getting really irritated.

Did you uninstall and then reinstall after you registered?

@BigLemon: Am I supposed to do that? It keeps saying to log in with the account that purchased the game which makes no fucking sense because I only have the one account with EA and use the same email address with Steam.

@Afroman269: Well it is worth a shot. I seem to remember having a similar problem when I downloaded DA:O and that worked for me.

@BigLemon: Does that mean I have to redownload the game again? That's gonna suck.

Wait a second. Did you registered your game key or your promo code? because the DLC uses a different code. Your must insert it here. If you did everything correctly then let us know. DLC authorization is a common problem with this game, they're actually looking for testers on bioware social network.

@HaroldoNVU: Ya I registered there. It looks like there was a delay with updating my account with the code info and stuff because everything is enabled now. Thanks for the tips guys.

I had the same issue, launch Dragon Age, and in the bottom left hand corner logout and then login back in. Make sure you used the same email address you applied the DLC code to on Bioware's site. After logging back in everything worked for me.

@Afroman269: ok. try that. press windows+r, type services.msc a look for the dragon age uptader service on that list. right click on it, go to properties and set it to automatic (delayed). then right click on the DA updater service again a pick start. Give it a few seconds, run the game as administrator, log into EA in-game, check the DLC. It should update them a authorize all, except for WitchCraft which is unlocked in-game. That should help you in case DLC goes unathorized again (happens a lot to some people).
