The first patch for DA:O is out but be warned. Many users including my self have experienced issues with the game not starting up after the patch is applied.
 

Wow thanks for the heads-up. Maybe I'll hold off until I hear more feedback.

What is it suppose to fix?

• Fixed potential corruption of character statistics
• Fixed portrait appearance sliders when importing a character from the downloadable Character Creator
• Fixed import for preset face settings from the downloadable Character Creator
• Made Easy difficulty easier
• Slightly increased attack, defense, and damage scores for all party members at Normal difficulty
• Fixed video issues when running on a very wide screen display, including ATI Eyefinity displays
     

What sort of issues are cropping up with the new patch?

I wouldn't mind a little stat boost at normal... although it has been interesting struggling by with barely enough healing.  The troll in the tower was pissing me off until I figured out how to kite it.
 
Anyone else notice that stamina sometimes regens after fights and sometimes not? Any idea why?
