Looking at the Xbox Live Marketplace, I can see DLC that has not shown up on my (European) PlayStation Store (yet).

Notice Board Quests - The Chosen (240 MS Points)

    Quest Pack: The Chosen
Makes an additional 8 quests available at notice boards: (..) Complete them all to gain exclusive rewards! (..)

I'm not too worried about not finding this on PS Store (yet), I'm actually considering finally starting from scratch on Xbox 360 to get that 'new game experience' again (it has been installed for weeks and everything).

A few questions about this DLC:

    • Since they are notice board quests, I'm assuming they are "Kill <number> of <monster>" type of quests, or are they new (mini)boss fights?
    • Are the rewards Rift Crystals or weapons/equipment? In case of weapons, are they useful? (not compared to end-game stuff, but e.g. the Monster Hunter Weapon Pack DLC)

Also, I looked at the "DLC Add-Ons" section (on the left) but couldn't find any info about any, nor any way to add any.

They're mostly escorts and kill ten rats quests. Nothing special. The rewards I've gotten are weapons that inflict tarring, but are otherwise weak. Nothing I care about, excep that an ink-black sword does look cool. Not sure what extra affliction they cause when fully upgraded, since I'm only midway thru playthrough #1 and don't have the items to see.

Yeah, I had decided to give it a look. Besides the 'Aneled' weapon rewards (douse with oil) there is a "Solar Armor" (chest piece for Fighter/Warrior/MK which is kind of like the Bronze Cuirass).

One thing to note is that equipment from this DLC can not be shared with hired pawns, it can't even be moved into their inventory to carry it around.

Some of them are, some aren't. One for example requires you gather 10 kept giant fish. Good luck with that ;p. The weapons are solid for early game at 3 star, despite their crap damage they have decent stagger stats, tar enemies, and can cause blindness. There is one armor which has fairly decent stats and causes you to very slowly regen hp in sunlight, it is actually fairly decent for awhile and worth picking up.

The best starter one (funny thing) is either the monster hunter one, even though they are insanely situational, or coiffure because it gives you mercedes gear which is actually decently strong and can outpace most armor for awhile after upgrade. Don't bother with the newest dlc's, they are literally just the pre order bonuses you got with the game. Every item you get out of them can easily be acquired in the game sooner or later.

@Karkarov: I had no trouble gathering the 10 (kept) Giant Fish, they are pretty commonly found in the Nightcall Crevasse and the two beaches at Bloodwater Beach. I collected 8 while escorting Madeleine to Bloodwater Beach.

I think I have completed all of them now, I just need to turn in "A Taste to be Acquired" once I get back to Gran Soren, but I can't say I actually used any of the stuff that I got beyond equipping that 'Solar Armor' for about an hour.

None of it is stuff a high level player will likely get alot of use out of except for potentially the armor. As for the fish, you are a lucky dude. I only ever get large fish out of nightcall, giants only pop up there for me rarely. On the other hand Alon will stock 1 kept giant fish every few days so you can always buy your way there it just takes time.
