Head Games
Glockstar Armani presents this game with a *GLOCKIE* award for:
*BEST GAME OF 1994*
I don't know anybody else who's ever played it, but I'm kind of obsessed with this game. It's a lot of fun, there are dozens of big, colourful levels, lots of power-ups, funny animations, a basketball mini-game...it's everything a good Sega game needs. It just loses points for getting unbearably hard during the last couple of levels. I really don't think it's possible to defeat the last boss without a walkthrough explaining things first. He has about 12 different attacks, and if you don't know all of their warning signs ahead of time, you're roadkill.
Dynamite Headdy plays out like an on-stage puppet show, which is a fantastic concept if I ever heard one. I'm thinking it might be high time for a sequel. Who's with me? Let's keep it 2-D, though.
Oh, and you know that teddy bear, Trouble Bruin? The guy who keeps popping up as a boss in this game over and over again? 400 points to anyone who can tell me what it is he keeps saying when you hit him. It sounds like "Whoa", but it also sounds like "Whokes". And "Whokes" isn't a word. Needless to say, I'm confused & frightened.
