    Overview

    East Vs. West was a game developed by BL Logic, who previously developed a game based on Hearts of Iron 2 called Arsenal of Democracy. Initially announced as having a release date of March 2013 the game was cancelled in March 2014. the games Publisher, Paradox Interactive, had previously announced that the game would be released as a pay-what-you-want open beta in an attempt to get the game released and recoup costs.

    The game was to be focused on the cold war between the United States and the Soviet Union and was based on the Hearts of Iron 3 version of the Clausewitz Engine, with more of a focus on diplomacy and proxy wars.
