Eowyn is a Shield Maiden of Rohan, a valiant rider, and an accomplished swordswomen. She avenged Theodens death by killing the Witch-King at the battle for Minas Tirith. In Peter Jackson's Lord of The Rings film Trilogy she was played by the actress Miranda Otto.
