Fumble Heroes
Oh Lionhead, and for that matter Mr. Molyneux, why have you managed to turn what started out as a good franchise into one that manages to dissapoint fans and leave us with a bad aftertaste in our mouths? Fable was awesome, still haven't played Fable 2, so no comment, and Fable 3 was a letdown, news of fable the journey was yet another not so good kinect game, but this?
Fable Heroes seems to be a nice little spinoff that fans of the franchise would enjoy, but this is only its outward appearance, at the heart of the beast is a dissapointingly bad game. Sure you're seeing Albion through a puppet and prop lens a la little big planet, but other than that and the name bearing a reference to a once good game what you get is a terrible game with a mildly interesting art style and terrible gameplay designed specifically for gamers aged 10 and below who would imagine that their button presses are actually doing what they want meanwhile the horrible camera and too much in your face scenery prevents you from seeing what is even going on. While I played this, I was literally not even bothering to look at the screen after five minutes and just pressing X like the devs want you to do with no consequence seeing as I couldn't even see where I was half the time anyway. You would think that the simple yet effective combat gameplay of the Fable series would at least be here wrapped in this colourful fantasy world but no, yet another fable fuble as it were and a sub-mediocre game at best with nice visuals that is all.
Fable fans move along, nothing to see here.
