I create a separate save each time I do so, and I save constantly. Wha 'bout you?

How do you save your game? [Poll]
all the time, every slot.... I absolutely hate how most 360 games don't let you have any more than one save... When I play FPS games on the PC I have been known to save after every 5 kills or so.
" At one point I had about 400 Fallout 3 saves. I've cleared that up since, at the moment I only have two saves. Each for a different character. "I have over 400 right now. The weird thing is that I never use any of those previous one, unless it's a different character.
" @Br3adfan said:Yeah I let my saves build up because I was not looking forward to deleting them all individually. Then at some point Fallout 3 was taking up about two to three gigs of hard drive space on game saves alone. So I had to tone it down a bit." At one point I had about 400 Fallout 3 saves. I quicksave all the time, especially before attempting persuasion, lock picking, etc. Other than that, I create a new save file at the end of every session.
It would depend on the game. With Thief I save a LOT. With RPGs, a good few. With others it's pretty conservative but I'm pretty cautious.
Depends, if it's a linear game I will have one save file, in RPGs I will have 2 save files just incase I screw something up. Now-a-days though, most games have auto-save features, which is all I use.
" Depends on the game. I typically keep two save files at staggered points, just in case, though that's mostly for RPGs. "Well, this thread is about fallout 3, but I don't mind people answering for how they save across all the games they play
I usually just save on one file, but save when ever I recall which can be quite often. I've learned after a glitched game or two to maybe keep one other save, but I usually don't ever save again in that one.
I usually save twice every time I'm about to quit playing, and while I play I rely on the auto-save feature. It doesn't always work out so well since my game crashes from time to time.
I play on the PS3, with Broken Steel, Operation : Anchorage and the Pitt installed.
I started saving twice every time I quit because my previous save was often overwritten every time I started a new character, which was a major bummer. I still don't know why that happens or what triggers it.
I just checked the saved files folder and it's about *drumroll* 1GB... no wonder I'm running out of hard drive space.
" One character, one playthrough, 30 levels, 20 bobbleheads, 5 DLCs, 58 quests, 44 unique weapons, 121 hours, 47 minutes, 46 seconds, 130094 caps, 873 saves. "Christ, you don't mess around
