I read in a FAQ about this quest, but I think I screwed it far earlier... You know, I kill the Overseer on my way out of vault 101.
Is it still possible to access that quest? I now know that it might be the only way for me to get one of the Boobleheads.

Yes, you can still do the quest. There will just be a new overseer when you go back.
