    Overview

Fengse Huanxiang is a strategy RPG developed and released in Taiwan in 1999. The game was re-released in 2004 with an expanded and higher quality concept art collection and information on the development of the game and the sequels which followed it.

Fengse Huanxiang takes place in a generic but fully-realized fantasy setting, using an anime-inspired art style. The story of the game involves the awakening of an ancient evil and a band of adventurers who must stop it. The gameplay is a standard turn-based strategy, with an RPG-like character progression system, including a job system which allows for higher levels of customization.

The game was popular enough to lead to the game becoming a franchise, with several more strategy RPGs released in Taiwan and in mainland China. In 2010, an MMORPG was released based on the series, released in Taiwan, China, Japan and Malaysia.
