Deep Listens is a gaming podcast series I'm recording with a few of my friends. Every two weeks we pick and play a new game and then discuss it from a literary, philosophical, and game design perspective. Its kind of like a book club for video games. We try to dig as deep as we can on an individual game every episode so check it out!

In this episode Gino, Pete, Billy, and Chris "ZombiePie" -REDACTED- finally finish FFIX! They discuss the game's many sidequests and it's final sequences. The whole crew weighs in on their impressions of the game as a whole, Gino opens up about why this game means so much to him, and ZP and Gino place FFIX in their ongoing Ranking of Fantasies.

@zombiepie took back all of the nice things he said about chocobo breeding in this podcast in a conversation yesterday. So let the record show that FFIX's victory over FFVII is even larger in hind-sight.
