My favorite moment would probably be when the music from Aeris's death scene came up. The music made me sniffle, not so much Aeris dying. Heh.

Storming the midgar building in the first disk was pretty sick (unless you run up all those damn stairs).

I would say the bit in the cell when there are blood trails everywhere was classic. fingers crossed for the remake :D

I think that the shinra parade in Junon and the ship ride afterwards is one of my many favourite moments of the game.

Probably, the final attack on Midgar near the end, and taking down Hojo. That man just deserved to die....

I have three favorite moments and they're all Sephiroth related.

The first is obviously Aeris' death.

My second favorite moment is Sephiroth's descent to madness and the eventual burning of Nibelheim.

Lastly, the final fight with Sephiroth was very satisfying after 60+ hours of play.

Honorary mention of Cloud's crossdressing scene.

My most memorable moments were not really related to the story, but the in-game bits. I loved raising my chocobos and racing them, I would play FF7 again just for that. But fighting the weapons for me was just awesome. I can't remember their names, but the one underwater and the one in the desert. I hadn't completed the game til I had beaten those two and felt really satisfied afterwards.

Also I was quite overwhelmed after getting out of Midgar, coming to terms with the fact that now I had the world "open" to me.

The las Omnislash you do against Seph is probably my fav.

i would say that mine was when i was watching my cuz play and i saw knight of the round for the first time........my jaw dropped and i went to buy the game......soon after it was stolen and i was only at the end of diec two....also control seph in for one fight was up there......it just lets you know how strong  that cat was and the distant you had between you two...

The parts I loved most were Aerith's death, ominislashing Sephiroth, and Gold Saucer.

yeah i got a few good parts in this game
1. the part at junon harbor were cloud is standing there and he said that some thing was missing when they moved the cannon
2. when you need to aquire the dress and wig to save tifa
3. the date with aerith i only liked it because my first time i took barrit by accsident lol

The entire Midgar episode is the most brilliantly crafted pieces of gaming in history.

Defend the hill minigame. I swear a grinded money just to play that.

I never played too much final fantasy 7. I played a lot of 8 and know way more about that. in ff7 id say, hmm, well isnt the reason why lots of people like it cause they think it was really good all throughout? I feel similar and cant pick one separate moment.

I fucking love VII more than any game.
Hard to pick a single moment, but i think the Junon Raid cutscene deserves applause, still beautiful today.
First time using Ifrit really blew me away

My favourite moment on the first play-through was entering the Gold Saucer. The whole cut-scene was awesome. However my wild excitement slowly dwindled when I realised you couldn't really do much in there.

So many moments... So I might avoid cliche and go for something more obscure.

Vincent/Lucrecia scene at the Waterfall.
Cid's revelation in space.
Defeating Emerald weapon.
Cloud's date in the Gold Saucer, ideally with Aeris.

After the final boss fight the FMV where Tifa runs towards the edge of the air ship to look over it to see what is happening. Creepy tits.

I'm not even on the second disc (and probably won't ever get there) and the game is filled with great parts. I think one of my favorites is when you first get out of Midgar and you hear the main theme music. I just think that is the best song in a video game ever.

My favourite moment is actually a variety of moments combined. The entire section relating to Cloud being crippled and his descent into madness.

The entire first part of the game in midgar, expecially when your in the sector (forgot the number) slums with Aeris and you have to get all the stuff together to make cloud a girl, so funny.

I'm not sure I really have a favorite moment... I really did enjoy playing through both flashbacks of Cloud returning to Nibelheim though.

Cross-dressing, hands down.
