flOw was conceived as a college project by creator Jenova Chen, whose company later ported the game to the PlayStation Network with upgraded graphics and motion control.
I tried it at my friend's house before I owned a PS3. I found it signifcantly easier to control when I held the controller upside-down and babackwards.
FlOw controls just fine. I think it would be significantly worse with analogue controls... there is a real ummm flow to the movement using the sixaxis.
The biggest problem with what you said is that you called it a game, when it's barely one step above being an interactive screensaver. (I like FlOw a bunch)
