Published by CRL group in 1985, Formula One is an F1 mangment simulator.
Supporting upto 6 players via a turn based system, after choosing your constructor (team) the player can choose upto 2 drivers and sponsers.
Before each of the 16 races, you must invest your sponsors' money in improving your drivers, cars and pit crew.
During the race onscreen information such as a full scoreboard and a running text commentary are shown.
Unforeseen circumstances, such as crashes and changes in weather will mean cars must be called into the pits. While the player has no direct control over the their driver during the race, each player has to control his own crew during these pit stops. Swapping out worn tires for new ones is done by using the keys or a joystick.
The game also allows the player to save their progress.
