Long Query Times

Occasionally you might see a request take a bit of time to complete.  Perhaps up to 10 seconds.  Behind the scenes, the first time an item is loaded up, we may have to dynamically resize and/or crop the images linked to it.  This can sometimes take a little time.

The good news is that only one person has to pay this performance penalty, and once an image is sized to a particular size, it never needs to be resized again.  So if you're getting slow query times, please be patient.  It should work itself out the more people use it.
