Drowning in new podcasts

So, is anyone else's iTunes or what have you downloading hundreds of the bombcast archives under the Premium Podcasts and the Interview Dumptruck feeds? Looks like it's been happening for the last 90 minutes or so?

I just got home from work, and also I'm an old fogey and don't know how to stop iTunes from doing the downloading anymore. :(

same thing happened to me. completely flooded my hard drive before id noticed. extremely annoying.

Same thing happening to me, except it's in the Giant Bomb Gaming Minute feed.

Seems to be a universal problem, I'm getting it on Doggcatcher too. The RSS feeds are fucked.

Giant Bomb twitter feed saying it's a known issue and that folks should turn off automatic downloads for now.

Yeah, sorry, we're aware of the problem and the engineering team is working on it right now.

You may also see some other busted stuff around the site, like reviews not showing on game pages and such. It's all related, I'm told! They're on the case.

Your only option is to listen to them all!

Okay I'm glad I found this. I was super confused there for a minute.

Weird, the apple podcast app on my phone put all of the recent bombcasts into the Bombin the AM feed. I was super confused when it said I had 18 new podcasts.

So, unless iTunes regulates purchases through some hidden encrypted RSS feed or something, because it's now gone from redownloading all the old bombcasts to the handful of albums I've purchased via iTunes over the years (apparently going all the way back to 2003).

Now I feel even older.

Maybe not ENOUGH Surge!!
