It would be so awesome (well maybe for some of us) if you filmed the bombcasts or maybe even do a live one with video you don't have to change the format just set a camera and film baby!
I imagine the E3 day wrap up videos are more or less what this would look like. Personally I would have no interest in it, the audio is enough for me, and the time spent editing the video would take away from the other already abundant video features.
Honestly, I'd love to see a video of the crew trying Swedish candy, but it's too late now. I feel like there are certain moments I'd love to see on film, but most of the bombcast is fine in the format it is.
They should simply have a webpage up of visual aides for what they're talking about. Say they're playing a new game (of which there is no NDA in this case), they could upload screenshots. Say they're testing a new energy drink or some horrid candy, have photographs of the packaging. Say they're making a bunch of random references to Moonlighting starring Cybill Shepard and Bruce Willis, upload a bunch of pictures of that rhyming secretary chick, and Bruce Willis wearing black plastic sunglasses and holding a coatrack as though it's a limbo stick.

You can download the videos with this tool if you're using Firefox. It'll automatically convert it from FLV to something more watchable like AVI or WMV if you set it up to do so, too.
Audio is fine for podcasts, and is downloaded way faster, just imagine a video size of a 2 hour show. And it would suck so have it stream and cut out, just to fucking stream it again.
For all the people who are saying that they'd hate to have one, you don't have to watch it. Now, if it interfered with the Endurance Run or anything like that, it's a different story.
I'd like to see it one time and then pass verdict. But no podcast with them playing a multiplayer game like Kotaku did with its podcasts. God that shit was horrible...
No thanks. Personally I hate filmed radio as passionately as I love regular radio (including podcasts). Even Giant Bomb couldn't make that interesting to watch, and I fear it would have a negative effect on the audial experience.
I personally wouldn't mind having videos as an option. I need something to watch while I listen to the Bombcasts. For me I can't just sit down and listen to them talk for 2 hours. I usually have to play skate. while I listen to it.
And I don't go anywhere mostly so cut out listening to it during travel.
Finally they are doing it and its gonna be awesome! All of you thought it was dumb and now you think its awesome......... oh how times have changed. #Ironic
@dudeglove: Which is the ideal scenario. Giant Bomb has always taken steps to ensure not dropping in quality. This will only give the audience more options without makingthe audio version any worse.
