Jeff reading the Nintendo new releases.

This has quickly become my favorite part of the bombcast. It used to be fun but now with Jeff showing his vocal skills while doing reads, it really has turned into a totally different monster. I'm pretty sure he is not even reading this stuff before hand but he nails each one. It would be really fun if they could throw in some different background music while he is doing reads. Like on some of the more dramatic ones it would be hilarious if they put in some intense movie music behind him. It's just a thought I had because the wii/dsi music they play seems out of place with some of his reads.

It kinda eliminates a lot of the butting-in that would happen when Ryan read 'em, but it seems to plenty compensate for that by just being funny as hell. In the Bombcast when he started doing some crazy accent, I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. On another note, I had a headache, and by the end of that segment I was about ready to down 10 Ibuprofen.

I'm gonna say, jeffs Reactions to ryans reading was funnier. just remember the "hidden tree friends"; how funneh wasn't that?

The new releases are hilarious and the music is perfect.

Definitely one of my most favorite parts and the music makes it that much greater.

He almost makes the games sound good enough to buy. Definitely love that he is doing them.

It's interesting to see how some people love this and some totally hate it. Honestly I thought most would prefer it. Do you folks not like the segment at all, or you just prefer Ryan to read them?

I really enjoy that part as well. One of the funniest parts.

I used to hate those parts, they were dry, they'd drag on forever, there would be a couple "Haha, DSIWare SUCKS" jokes, and then I'd get to sweet, sweet e-mails.
 
Now at least there is something resembling humor going on.

I liked it better when Ryan read them. When Jeff does it, I just feel like he's trying too hard and becomes more annoying than amusing.

There is nothing I have ever disliked about the Bombcast.  
And I enjoy both Ryan and Jeff's reading.  
If anyone remembers the option was not to have the segment at all - or have Jeff read it.  
Personally - The more Jeff the better. The more Bombcast the better.

I enjoy the wii-ware bit. Although, I like it better when they just read it in their normal-but-over-excited voices. The corny game descriptions with the wii-ware music backing it are just awesome. 
 
But when they try to ham it up too much, it just takes away some of the humor for me.
 
That being said... I'd rather the segment stay as it is than leave entirely.

I fondly remember him reading passages from Perfect Dark: Initial Vector as well as passages from Hideo Kojima's blog.

I agree completely with the OP. I look forward to it every week. 
 
Was it last week when they were going over the shark game on wiiware? That was so freaking funny, and the part where jeff says, "..and SLLAAAAAAMMM them to the ground!!"

I loved the first one, but I feel like it's getting old fast.

I'm just waiting for the triumphant return of Saucepan "Thauthpan" Man & Silky Da Fairy in the Land of Take What You Want. Yeah, the way Jeff introduces Wiiware & DSiware new releases are pretty badass compared to how drab they actually are.

Yeah, Jeff's been doing an awesome job.  His constant yelling of the descriptions kinda reminded me of the send-off he used to do for the Hotspot. GAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEspot.com!

The French/Mexican accent one from two weeks ago had me literally laughing for 10 minutes (in public, like a crazy person).

I hate it. I've started skipping to the end now. It's dry, boring, and often just trolling.

Glad I'm not the only one. I like Jeff's sense of humor but that bit on the Bombcast reminds me too much of when Conan had that celebrity tweets bit , which I didn't really like. "

It's pure genius, Love it when it's something really "GREAT"...

I think Ryan did them better to be honest.
