Was the GTAV Ending spoiled during the GOTY podcasts?

If so, what day?

I have only listened to day 1 so far, and have played through The Stanley Parable and Brothers to make sure those didn't get spoiled yet. Haven't finished GTAV yet, though.

That was a lot of podcast but I am going to say no?

I don't think they actually touched on GTA V at all a whole lot. I very assuredly don't remember them spoiling the ending.

As far as I can remember, no. Not at all.

In fact, it barely got mentioned other than a few minutes during the last day and the best new character award.

GTA V was not spoiled that much. Bioshock and Brothers, though, heavily spoilt.

Considering it didn't make the top 10 and not a single one of them campaigned to have it there they didn't really mention it much. There is a bit during Best New Character since Michael, Trevor, Franklin and Lamar were all nominated. If you skip that talk then you should be fine.

Yeah, they didn't talk about it all that much, so far as I can recall, and what they did talk about was very vague. It was in regards to the Best New Character category, and I don't think there were any specifics in the discussion at all. I don't think it even registered on the Best Story category or GOTY category.

I have listened to most of the podcasts in their entirety, but I suppose I could have missed something. However, in 95% of the podcasts, they did not talk about the game and its story much at all. Surprisingly little, in my opinion when compared to other games that they talked about.

No, not a lot or even at all (barely remember GTA being talked about other than Lamar) but they did they did talk about Bioshock Infinite very heavily (section leading up to the ending) and also a moment prior to the last few chapters in Dead Rising 3 for best sequence.

Listening to day 2, Brad came VERY close to spoiling Dead Rising 3. What about that?

I really want someone to spoiler tag/time stamp the deliberations so I know which sections to avoid when they talk heavily about The Last of Us, Brothers or GTA V.

@madlaughter: While I don't think the ending itself was spoiled, some very important story elements near the end do get spoiled for Dead Rising 3 in the best story category (which was day 3 or 4 I believe?).

EDIT: I am actually not even sure it was best story category, but I do know Brad had to spoil stuff Dead Rising 3 during one of the podcasts.

Was it best moment? He was really high on the ending chapters to that game.

GTAV rarely came up, and when it did there wasnt any end game spoilers (from what I recall, at least)

That sounds about right. My memory is a bit hazy as to the actual category when Brad spoils those particular story beats, but I definitely remember the crew saying that Brad had to spoil the part he was jazzed up about to really discuss the game. So they give a little bit of an indirect warning before Brad spoils the story if you wanna hear the podcast.

thats why i havent listened to the goty i didnt finish gta. i got bored and moved on.

The most spoilery thing I recall for GTAV is that they mentioned that Franklin is sadly underdeveloped despite being a compelling character, which is something I've heard from them even before GOTY. IOW you're good if this the only game you're worried about spoilers for.
