New image tool question

I often see the message of "This is a brand new image the user uploaded!" The images also aren't random. Are these images really the latest uploaded? If so, there's not a chance I'm using this feature for anyone. I'm not the only one with stuff deep in the system right now.

I don't think it means 'brand new' in terms of right now. It just means they uploaded it when they submitted it to a gallery. I think.

It just means it hasn't been approved yet afaik.

Yeah, this is too fun not to participate in. I hope I don't get owned for declining a lot though (rejecting those that are wallpapers and concepts getting added to all images).

I'm pretty sure wallpapers and concepts should be in all images as well as their respective directory. All images is just that, all screenshots, box art, concept, wallpaper etc.

But I've come across some that aren't added to those sub categories.

Regardless you shouldn't reject them, you should only reject them if they are in the wrong sub directory as well as all images.

I don't see it either but I am still on the page in another tab. Maybe they unlinked it to push some updates to it or something. Nevermind it is back up they just changed the text to be smaller so it doesn't take up 2 lines.

Currently for me it says no more image to moderate, but that doesn't make sense because I have a lot of images that haven't been approved yet in my queue. I suppose if you submitted your picture before this tool went up it won't put them in for crowd moderation?

Nah, there's something up with it. Don't forget that this entire site is still a beta.

I used that tool for like a straight 30-45 minutes, so I've done enough for awhile :P

I get that style me Dave message when I want to mod pics. Anyone else have this?

Should we check if the image already exists in the specified galleries before clicking approve/disapprove, and if so, is the correct procedure to disapprove with a comment? There are a lot of submissions that have already been added.
