how i do it is i hover over the browse button at the top toolbar of the site and underneath that it will say object, character, game, etc. Click on the one you want to add to and towards the top left it will be a yellow button that says something like add item. Thats how i do it. Your weapon will probably go under object

Spot on - I would have said the same thing. Just goto "Objects" and sort them alphabetically to make sure that the one you want isn't there. Then just click "Add New Object" found up the top right hand corner. Objects are my fav ;)
