Finland is celebrating TODAY its 100th year of independence!

With Steam currently having a sale on Finnish-made games, what are your favorites or hidden gems?

My favorites would have to be the original Max Payne, Trials HD and Cities: Skylines.

Max Payne is a classic, MP2 might be too, and The Swapper, idk, not old enough but could be too.

Cities Skylines is apparently Finnish - so I'll go with that.

It's probably a toss-up between The Swapper and Cities: Skylines for me. Never really got into Trials or Legend of Grimrock. Max Payne 2 has been something I've wanted to go back and play for ages, don't know if it'll ever actually happen.

Have to go with Max Payne 2. There are a number of really good games from Finland, but MP2 crosses the Finnish line first.

Gotta give it up for FlatOut 2 as well... right up there with Burnout in the pantheon of great arcade racers.

Eh, none of them are really my thing. Not that it's Finland's fault! I'm just a weirdo who doesn't play many types of games. I'll go with Frets on Fire, since I played a significant amount of it back in the day and it paved the way for Phase Shift.

The actual favorite might just be Supreme Snowboarding (the PC version) since countless hours were spent on those snowy mountains, big air jumps and half-pipes perfecting 'racing' lines, jump heights and spin velocities.

For local co-op games it's a three-way-tie between GeneRally, Liero and Wings.

Either The Swapper or Legend of Grimrock (1) would probably be my more modern pick.

Max Payne 2 and Trine 2. They make great 2's, apparently.

@soulcake: Oshit, how could I forget My Summer Car? I'm changing my answer even though I haven't played it based entirely on the QL video.

The Swapper and the Remedy games are all great, but Outland is really good game that people tend to forget about. And it's like 1,50 on steam right now so you should play it!

Max Payne. I like MP2 as well but I feel like half that game takes place in a warehouse.

Legend of Grimrock II. It's hard to believe they managed to top the first game, which itself was fantastic.

The Trials Games. Never owned them but used to play them with friends and those are a frustratingly fun time.

I guess I gotta go with Alan Wake. Pretty much the only Finish game I've played to a great enough length to say it's the best.

Trials Evolution, Legend of Grimrock, Nex Machina, Oceanhorn, Outland, Alan Wake series, Max Payne, Knights of Pen & Paper 2, Resogun, and The Swapper. There were some pretty great games developed there I would say.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.
