Aegis Defenders

Hey duders,

Anyone else playing Aegis Defenders? I kickstarted it, and have enjoyed playing through it thus far, but am not too deep.

It's got that new-school SNES look (which drives my wife crazy), with some 2d tower defense tossed in.

I, too, kickstarted it. Haven't touched it yet. How much of it is just tower defense? Any amount of exploration?

It's a got a whole mess of systems, multiple characters with different talents/skills, some exploration, an anime look/story, all in a post/post apocalypse motif.

I am terrible at platforming, but it reminded me of the NES TMNT game for some reason, but with an SNES sprite look.
