WELL, it's all THERE IN the title (and I SWEAR TO God this isn't TROLLING), but is anyone ELSE KINDA "meh" on THE VIDEO GAMES coming out THIS holiday? It's not THAT THEY all look terrible or anything, IT'S JUST that I can't seem TO GET A LOT of hype for ANY OF THEM. MAYBE I'M JUST spoiled on the past FEW YEARS which seemed to HAVE MORE heavy hitters? Or MAYBE I'M just losing TASTE in games? The first QUARTER of '11 LOOKS strong, though.

Great time to catch up on all the games you've missed. I'm happy, I've got Assassin's Creed next month and Dead Space in Jan. Currently going through the entire Resident Evil series on Gamecube and still haven't touched any of the Summer of Arcade which I downloaded (eg Limbo and Tomb Raider, plus all my Steam games. Too much I tell you!
@AnAmericanPatriot: Haha, I love you dude. I'm usually late enough to the party that the quality of any given release season doesn't bother me much. I'm waiting for Fallout New Vegas to get patched up and drop in price. Beyond that, I'm getting Batman AA on sale, and I'm looking into some sweet FPS action from yesteryear. So to answer your question; nah, not really disappointed.
@TheJohn: GOOD point. I've GOT A DECENT back catalog TO BURN through, but OTHER THAN F:NV, THERE JUST weren't any NEW GAMES that have REALLY CAUGHT my eye. DEFINITELY WAITING a bit for THAT SHIT to patch and drop in PRICE a bit, though. HOLDING OUT for a Steam SALE LIKE always!
@AnAmericanPatriot: You have a very strange case of random capitalization going on there. As for your question, yes, I do agree that there is nothing that I really want to play right now. Yes, there are games coming out, but nothing that I personally want to play.
This has been an odd year for me as all the games I was looking forward to let me down, and one that I dismissed all along turned out to be the one I love.

IF YOU would REMEMBER mass EFFECT 2 came out AND WE had a NEW halo AS WELL as Red dead REDEMPTION and EVEN starcraft 2. I FOR one AM GLAD they have REALISED, that IT IS insane to release EVERYTHING in a 2 month PERIOD CALLED THE holidays INSTEAD OF spreading them out.

@AnAmericanPatriot: Yeah, Steam sales are pretty sweet. I was really close to getting F:NV on pre-order on Steam, but lucky for me the review was out before the game was released in Europe, so I dodged that bullet.
Also, I kind of am. Maybe the games this holiday season match the greatness of games last year, but there isn't very much hype. I'm not really interested in anything that comes out past today.
THIS guy IS crazy. THERE are TOO many GOOD games OUT this YEAR. I'VE already GOTTEN Vanquish AND Fallout NEW Vegas, PLUS Fable III is OUT today, AND then THERE'S Assassin's CREED II LATER this YEAR.
Whoever agrees with this dude is retarded. I doubt you've played every game you ever wanted to, so if you don't like what's being released, don't buy it. Instead, go buy some Steam games for 90% off and go wild.
