Best Fighting Game Series?

I grew up with Tekken and it's done pretty well for its self.  Now where's Tekken 6?

As a series hands down Street Fighter is my favorite,  but as a single game I don't think I ever racked up more hours on a single fighting game than Guilty Gear X2 for the PS2.
