Chrono Trigger intro in danish pop song

Hey guys! I only wanted to get your attention about this song that plays on the radio nowdays in both Denmark and Sweden. It's from a danish artist named Rasmus Seebach and the song is called Natteravn. You won't understand a word unless you're of Nordic origin BUT what you will recognize is the first tunes you hear in the song that then continues to be the main melody through the whole verse. I can't shake of the feeling that I'm hearing the intro song from Chrono Trigger. What do you guys think?

Am I totally off or does that melody not resembe Chrono Triggers intro? It's kind of more upbeat but it seems to sound almost like it. I can feel a difference but at the same time, when I heard this a couple of weeks ago I reacted directly by saying "Why are they playing Chrono Trigger music on the radio?". Many of my friends seem to agree.
Far fetched or not? What do you think?
