costume quest or super meat boy? who gets your money this week?

Both. I'll play SMB first though, and then chill out with a bit of CQ once I've reached the "OH MY FUCKING GOD I AM GOING TO TEAR OUT MY EYES!!" stage of frustration from SMB.

I can't get either of them right now, but if I had to choose I would go with Super Meat Boy.  I just love the style and atmosphere of the game.

Both, though I'm waiting for SMB to come to WiiWare (I'd prefer PSN, but apparently that isn't happening) so I can play with a proper d-pad.

Costume Quest now so that I can play it while the Halloween vibe is thick in the air... Then Super Meat Boy a little later (probably within the next few weeks.)

I planned for both a while back so luckily I don't have to make that decision.  It is awesome that the team behind Super Meat Boy are putting it on sale for 10 bucks for the first few weeks as a thank you for the support.  That makes it even easier... and Costume Quest looks so ridiculously fun.  That was one of the first QL's I've seen in a while where both guys clearly loved what they were doing from start to finish and had virtually nothing negative to say about it.  They both look like can't misses... and with the 800 points coming back, it's a no brainer for me.

I'm not touching Super Meat Boy with anything resembling a 360 controller, pure digital seems like the only logical course of action, so I'll wait for the Wii or Steam (keyboard) version of that game. So Costume Quest it is.

Both seem cool but I have to go with Wardrobe Adventure, since I has no Xbox.

They both will get my money this week. Money isn't the issue, it's the fact that I own twice the amount of content on XBLA that my 20 gig harddrive can hold. So I have to write down what I own, and download it as I need it. Terrible, terrible system. The 250gb HD, the HDMI, and dedicated Kinect port might get me to switch to a slim xbox from my launch model. 

I'm getting both.  Normally I don't like the 1200 price point, but I do like to support Double Fine so it's all good.  Plus I need to get over the 2400 point hump to get my free 800.

been following super meat boy for a while now, and i am a fan of supporting indies (cuz they're awesome), but i also love double fine and my kids would probly love costume quest so....both!

I played the flash version of SMB to death and am more or less done with it. It has a lot of cool new features and levels, but man, there's only so many times a game can kick you in the nuts before you just don't want to play it anymore. Unless it was like, 400 points.  
I've been looking forward to Costume Quest since the first time I saw it in action. I'm beyond hyped for that game.

looks like more people are saying both than picking one over the other with the individual picks being 50/50 for both sides. really interesting. lol looks like microsoft really is catchin ppl with that 800 points deal they have goin.

I didn't even know Costume Quest was coming out tomorrow... For now I'll get SMB but I plan on getting Costume Quest as well at some point down the line.

I'm getting both because A) They both look really fun and B) Spending 30 dollars in October gets you 10 dollars back in November anyway.

Neither. SMB looks more frustrating than fun and I never really finish arcade games. Plus I'd rather get Fable 3, CoD and Star Wars than arcade games I probably won't play much (still barely touched Comic Jumper)

Super Meat Boy is a must buy, Costume Quest looks good, but it seems like one of those games that is only good for a short while.

Super meat boy. it's 800 points if you buy it this week, then it goes back up to 1200.

i so wish these games were out already instead of tomorrow. the local family video doesn't have dj hero 2 or the new naruto game or kirby so i'm SOL right now. =/ ohwell. i'll just listen to the giant bombcast to tide me over for now since it just got put up.

Super Meat Boy looks like it would piss me off, which is why I had to uninstall Splosion Man. Plus, after Psychonauts and Brutal Legend I swore Id' buy any Double Fine game day one, sight unseen.
 
As for the promotion, I'm thinking I'll get 2 1600 MSP cards and grab The Writer along with some RB DLC (Dio and maybe some STP) to get me to 2400 points.
