What are some of your favorite games to play when drinking (responsibly)?
Favorite game to play when consuming alcohol... 21 ofcourse.
Call of Duty
...and Cooking Mama: Cook Off
"Rock Band. DUH!"It's a good concept, but it needs a few tweaks from what I tried.
street fighter 2 or 4:
-basically a single round's worth of health represents the volume of a 12oz beer
-losing player drinks obviously
-if you are perfected.. you must open a completely fresh beer and chug it, no questions asked
another good way to play is to buy 40's and draw lines (with a tape measure or something) down the side. if you lose a round you drink down to the next line. gotta be careful here though.. if you are perfected in a round you have to chug the entire 40. i've done this to someone when we were playing with 40's and its not pretty.
fun though :-)

I played last and beat everyone my first time round, so that by the second time everyone came around to face me they'd already drunk twice, and I mopped the floor with them. I ended the night not touching a drop."
Got to be Street Fighter (any 'ill do (when I say any I mean any of the 2s, Alphas or IV)) when you've got alot of mates around and you're passing the controllers 'round trying out different characters.
Last game I played while drinking with mates was the XBLA version of Vigilante 8. It was a laugh but man I suck at that game!
I played SingStar at some party and got up and threw everyone out with my Hit Me Baby One More Time, it was genius until I was sick all over the bathroom wall.
GTA4 or either of the more recent Persona games.
I remember being drunk while playing GTA4 and getting Niko drunk...and I couldn't drive five feet without smashing into something..

I mean after a while you won't be able to follow what's happening.

I don't drink anymore but it used to be Rainbow 6 on the original Xbox. Getting buzzed and trying to play that game over Xbox Online was a lot of fun. It was a simpler time and there were fewer games that people could play over a console online, so everyone played the same 3 games: Rainbow 6, MechAssault and PGR2. Well, on occasion people detoured to try out Crimson Skies or Midtown Madness. Back then, in the early days of XBL, Halo was still something people played together in the same room.

In fact, thanks to the emotional effects of alcohol, the big moments seem even bigger."GTA4 or either of the more recent Persona games.I remember being drunk while playing GTA4 and getting Niko drunk...and I couldn't drive five feet without smashing into something.."Would you really want to play a story based game though. For being completely tanked, it was mostly Persona 3, which I'd already beaten and was just going back to try and get everything. LOTTA grinding.
OK, so me and my buds were drinking whiskey and playing Xbox until 4am the other day. One of them sitting next to me, the other was on Xbox Live. The dude on Xbox Live was trying to help me beat the last level of Resident Evil 5, so that I could unlock the pro difficulty. We did fine during the gameplay, but during a cutscene/quicktime event, we could NOT hit the damn buttons! It took us half an hour, for that 2 minuite cutscene! ...the connection wasn't lagging, but we were.
Its 18 over here in England. Anyway my favorite to play is Mario Kart 64 with some friends.
