So, TNT is getting rolling with two episodes under our belts. Personally, watched most of the SSFIV one after the fact and watched the Halo one long enough to hear that Jeff wants to do Skate 3 next week.
I think this could be a great feature on Giantbomb and I am all for its serialization. The games have begun, but where to from here?
I am personally with Jeff, we should play Skate 3 next week, but what do you all think would be a great game for this venue, for next week or after?
For the next TNT we should play...
You should check out the GB torny going on this weekend. Brad is playing in it as are other users. I'll be live streaming every game this weekend with people from Team Liquid adding commentary." Yeah, I think SC2 would be amazing. Ryan said they're going to do it when it comes out, but a beta TNT would be amazing too! "

Thanks, but I already know about it, I'm in it, lol.
Yeah bro, lets do a RTS so we can play against 3 people over the two hour show. TNT is suppose to be Giantbomb playing with the community. SC2 would be a horrible choice.
Skate 3 should be interesting. I have a feeling they will just test out the rag doll for two hours.
" Yeah bro, lets do a RTS so we can play against 3 people over the two hour show. TNT is suppose to be Giantbomb playing with the community. SC2 would be a horrible choice. "SC2 gams last no longer than 15, and most games I play end up ending in 8 minutes. Plus, let's be serious for a second...out of all the games coming out this year, which one will be played for at least 10 years in the future at a pro level, and be the front runner for GOTY. They are adding 4v4 soon so that's 8 players, plus spectators and whatnot.

Even if Brad is playing, I somehow think that each match will last roughly 20 minutes before he gets rushed and loses. But I agree with you in concept. I find RTS games to be excessively boring from a spectator perspective. What works are games that can be done quickly with a lot of people. Thus, Halo and Street Fighter are logical choices.
" @KaosAngel said:In all seriousness, I'd be up for some BC2 watching." @Wes899 said:I chuckled. I vote for BF:BC2 on all three platforms. "" Civ 4. One game. "Something that won't put 90% of the community to god damn sleep. "
I think that BFBC2 makes the most sense. It can handle more players than most games can at once. And it's got enough variety to be an entertaining watch. They shouldn't feel like they HAVE to play new releases every week. That's what Quick Looks are for.
So, they will be doing these every week (presumably until review season kicks in and destroys all their souls). I think they want to also focus on recent releases (like that week or the previous) but I bet if it gets slow this summer they'll pull out some old stuff.
I'm bummed to see so many people saying that Skate 3 wouldn't interest them. I'm personally more excited about that game than I am about any other mentioned so far.

" Next TNT should be Lost Planet 2, the week after Red Dead Redemption. Why? Because they both come out the Tuesday prior. Oh yea, also I'm getting both of them...so not bias... "Red Dead does look pretty sweet.
It should be something a bunch of people can participate in, which kinda leads us in the direction of stuff like BFBC2 or MW2 or heck even Team Fortress 2. Not saying that those would be the best choices, just that they are the most logical.
I imagine if they played BF:BC2, it would just be a few hours of them dying constantly, which could be entertaining in it's own right...
" What about Left 4 Dead 2? "The bad part about both games is the player size and length (for campaign and versus). Unless it's scavenge or survival, not gonna be a good idea.
I would go for Team Fortress 2 (after Engineer update), Bad Company 2, and fuck, BATTLEFIELD 2 DEMO.
They lied to us! They said they'd announce which game they'd be playing on I Love Mondays... and they didn't!
UFC 2010. A Smackdown game could be fun as well. A great big online Royal Rumble with a couple of the guys and some of the users? Epic.

" They lied to us! They said they'd announce which game they'd be playing on I Love Mondays... and they didn't! "What they (Ryan) actually said was "We should be ready to announce something by Monday"
Since the boys have completely "ruined the magic" and told us that they record stuff early ::Gasp:: and we know "I <3 Mondays" is filmed on Friday before the weekend so it can be posted Monday early, they weren't ready then.
The Bombcast was recorded today, the announcement should be there and will likely be a news story in the morning or something.
