GoG movie lifted by soundtrack. I expect game to do the same.

I hoping that these songs are included in the game in their entirety and not just snippets. Can i idle and will the tracks play to completion?

There's a juke box in your ship and you can cycle through a ton of different songs and let them play through to your hearts desire. I don't really interact with it much, but it's nice to have the background music playing quietly while exploring the ship, talking to the other guardians and upgrading my perks.

Funny that 2 of my next purchases (gta collection) are heavily sountrack driven. Things happens in threes. I wonder what the third might be (non-racing titles).
