Gta 4 vs Saints 2 vs Mercenaries 2

Anyone think saints and merc have what it takes to beat gta 4? I  personally can't even imagine a better free-roaming game than gta 4 till gta 5 i guess...

Saints 2 looks like a damn fine game.

Saints 2 looks broke as fuck at the moment, although its obviously quite far from completion so that should change.

No, and neither should be compared to GTA because they are apples to oranges to pears comparisons. 

I was unimpressed with GTA, I've never like Saints Row so I'll have to go with Mercs 2

GTA over Saints Row anyday, and Mercenaries should even be in this comparison.

Well I can't really base my judgment until both games come out. But out of Saints Row and Mercenaries 2 I think Mercenaries has a better chance of beating GTA.

Mercs 2 looks great, a little less so for Saints Row. But the problem is they're all really different games now. Mercs is pure explosion and Saints is going down a less realistic route more over the top style compared to GTA. They both look set to be great games though.

GTA 4 is never going to get beat in sales by either of these games, but I think they will both be good games. I'm happy to see Saints Row just going the totally opposite direction of GTA, and Mercenaries was one of my favorite games on the original Xbox and I think the sequel looks great.

They are all aiming for completely different things so I don't think it's fair to compare them to each other, I'll definitely buy Saints Row 2 and Mercenaries 2 though, no matter what scores they get in reviews.

Neither will get sales equal to GTA4 but i'm personally really looking forward to Mercenaries 2.

Well only one out of three of those games are out so it's pretty hard to make a comparison. But based on past games I'd have to go with Grand Theft Auto.

i dont feel mercs should be in this face off.. saints row looks interesting aint no GTA IV tho ....but hey it has co-op in hotdog suits

They can't be compared there different game. GTA IV is a story driven open world shooter, Saint's Row 2 is a open world comedy shooter, and Mercs 2 is a jungle based TPS where you blow shit up.

I'm sure GTA IV will be the overall best game, but I'll be getting both Mercs 2 and SR2. Both look like a lot of fun.
