Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time.
I have enough cash for only one of these games. Which one should I pick?
I'd go for Demons's's's's Souls if you've got the time and patience.
God of War for lots and lots of blood with some fun.
Ratchet and Clank for GUNS!
I don't know though since I don't own any of them but Demons's Souls has recieved a lot of praise and you won't find anything quite like it.
I went with Ratchet & Clank, even though I'm not really a big fan of the series. It's a safe bet. With GOW Collection, you're getting two excellent games, but you're getting two excellent, but short PS2 games & if you've played them already (and aren't big on re-playing old games) then it's not such a great deal. Demon's Souls I think is friggin' awesome (if repugnant & masochistic at times) but that game is way too love-it-or-hate-it for an impulse buy.
" Go on a PSN game binge. Fat Princess + Trine + PixelJunk Shooter + Critter Crunch + Shatter = $60, and all together has way more value than a single game. "Are people playing Fat Princess? I've been meaning to buy it for some time but there were news that the servers are empty.
" @Andorski said:You can still find completely full games when playing between 5-10pm PST. Not to mention that they are releasing another free map tomorrow, which will bring back some old players and have more new players coming in." Go on a PSN game binge. Fat Princess + Trine + PixelJunk Shooter + Critter Crunch + Shatter = $60, and all together has way more value than a single game. "Are people playing Fat Princess? God of War Collection, since it's 2 games in one! Sure, it's kinda the same game, but that's a good game.
If you want satisfying, then there's nothing that can beat the satisfaction you can get from playing Demon's Souls. Whether it's the time you finally killed that one boss or you killed an invading player and sent his ass packing or you hit the wall with your weapon like a dumbass and stunned yourself and an enemy is about to one shot you but you get a swing off in time, you'd be hard pressed to find another game that just makes you wanna do a fist pump and a verbal fuck yeah!
id say god of war collection if you havent beat them already, there some of the best games out there!!!
my second choice is ratchet and clank, you can never go wrong with these games...
I'd wait for Mass Effect 2 (which comes out as your paycheck hits) and then opt for the Battlefield : Bad Company 2 Demo (360 and PS3) or Beta (PC), which starts the officially the week after the release of Mass Effect 2.
Only 1 week of wait left for ME 2 - folks.
If it has to be one of these 3... Demon's Souls or Ratchet.
" Go on a PSN game binge. Fat Princess + Trine + PixelJunk Shooter + Critter Crunch + Shatter = $60, and all together has way more value than a single game. "Something like that would be a more intelligent choice. Shatter - hell yes.
Demon's Ratchets: A Collection of Ratchet and Clank's Souls.
Or buy a bunch of ice cream.
I don't know your tastes but I'd go for Ratchet. Maybe God of War if you haven't played them.
If you can stomach the difficulty, Demon's Souls. Almost everything about it refreshing and it is one of the few games that walks a perfect balance between simplicity and depth. It is overflowing with atmosphere as well.
Why anybody is still interested in Ratchet and Clank is beyond me. Yes, the games are quality, but that series is so stale and recycled at this point. And after Super Mario Galaxy, the Ratchet and Clank games look extremely typical, fairly unimaginative and pedestrian. That's not to say they are not good games, but they are definitely not top-tier in my opinion. The last time R&C was a top-tier platformer was during the PS2 glory days.
As far as the God of War Collection is concerned, I'd rather buy new games rather than 2 remakes. But that's just me.
" Help me out! I want all of these but I've bought 4 games in the past month or so already. Cash is tight and I only have money for one more game. The only factors I care about are how much fun I can have with it and how satisfying it is to play. "If you want a game that's a butt-ton of fun, then I would go with Ratchet and Clank. The characters and the story are well developed, the gameplay is fun, and it's satisfying to shoot up baddies with cool weapons. What's not to love? And then, when you're done with that, you can play the other Ratchet games, 'cause they kick ass too.
