I don't think I could play one console for the rest of my life. It's too hard to pick from. We're only where we are in technology, and there's no way to know what will come in the next generation of games consoles. So I couldn't use something that was outdated. But if there were never going to be any more consoles made, I'd like a PC please. And an unlimited budget for upgrades. So I can keep up with stuff, and also play other games through it.
PC but if that isn't an option then backwards compatible ps3 because of all the games that I never played on the ps1 and ps2 and ps3 so I would get a lot of time out of that.
well i would take the ps3 mainly cuz i like alot more then i like the xbox (not fanboy) reason i grew up with games and the first real console i can remember was the psx and i followed up with the ps1, 2, 2 slim and now ps3 fat. diddent bother getting the slim cuz mine works just fine and i have a 4 year warrenty that covers everything i can even split it open with a hammer and still get a new one or dumb the controller in paint and get a new one the only thing it does not cover is modding of the blue ray reader (and thats only cuz you could crack the ps1 and 2 so it could read bootlegged disks but thats just removing it and then no problem again)
(question the gray square playstation is called the psx and the white one was called the ps1 since they diddent tagline it slim) i had the saturn but i can barely remember it (im 23 do he math)
and pc is not a console so you would still have that, if you for argument sake called the pc a console then i would take the pc just cuz you can still upgrade it and get more modern grafics if you could not then back to the ps3.
@BemX02 i seriously cant understand why you would take the wii cuz in the end with the move for ps3 you can basicly make wii games only more pretty and more precise
I would say the snes. But seeing as if they are not out on the VC yet, i can mod the wii to play all the snes games not up on vc yet, id go with the wii. Get some of my all time fav games ever made on that system all in one small easy to carry package.
I own an xbox 360 but I would go with a backwards compatible PS3 as I still play old ps2 games as much as I do 360. I'd be happy with resi evil 4, shadow of the collosus and freedom fighters forever!
That doesn't sound good. It's not like the PS3 or 360 will last my whole life, there will be new consoles. I will say PC because then I can play Quake or Counterstrike forever. If I had to choose between 360 and PS3 I'd totally choose PS3 because the online is free and it won't die every six months.
As much as I hate the Wii, that's what I'm leaning towards. Really, just because of the backwards compatibility with the Gamecube and the virtual console. But still I'd cry myself to sleep every night.
I don't think the PS2 would be a bad choice, but a lot of those games don't hold up so well already. The 360 would be a solid good choice, but then I'd be doomed when it inevitably red-ringed. So yeah, unfortunately, the Wii wins.

Then I'd choose Xbox 360 for several reasons. A) I already have one. B) Games are still being made for it C) Assassin's Creed 2 D) When it gets old, I still have my PC. Which I prefer anyways

Yea i know its a hard pick. My Xbox 360 has a ton of shit already loaded on it, my N64 has a lot of fun games and my Dreamcast feels like a arcade machine. I would probably pick my Xbox 360 if I had to chose one but lets face it i don't think online gaming is going to be on it 15 years from now.
