Giant bomb, what a great community eh? well with all great communities comes annoying fucking memes. But what do they mean? How did they come about? The reason I am doing this is because I can't count how many times I have stumbled upon a thread with countless ''<>'' I mean, what the fuck is that?
Here is where you come in, I am no Giant Bomb expert so I need you guys to help me fill out this thing! In fact, you will do the work and I will take the credit...ummm...heh. Let's get started, shall we?

''Duder'' did not originate from Giant Bomb it has however become something we often use. It is always seen at ends of videos ''Duder, it's over...'' and if you are a Giant Bomber you my friend, are a duder.
So Duder is just random then? nope. It came from the movie ''The Big Lebowski'' (info from memo) Why do they use it? I don't know, but they do.

What is <>? That my friend is a plumbob from The Sims series. At the E3 The Sims 3 Console presentation Paul Barnett had the idea to put them above people's head using head ware. (info from Jothel and Red12b). People were coming out of the EA booth with these ''things'' on there head. Someone he worked wish s aid how it resembled a gang sign, so he put his hands over his head in. Giant Bomb also had a guest at the live stream, Leigh Alexander. As mail comes from English Texas Jeff starts talking about how after he drinks the energy drinks they got from here he will be all like..ummm...Hulk like? But anyway, Brad's head pops up photo bombing Jeff and guess what happens?

During a certain Bombcast episode, Ryan registered the URL ''batmanbatmanbatman.com'' then Buzz_clik used an awesome image in the site (batmanbatmanbatman.com) and BAM! Meme.
BatmanBatmanBatman was registered because Ryan was reading out a load of URL's that had been registered for the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum, he then came up with BatmanBatmanBatman.com and thus the page was born. (Thanks a bunch toRiotBananas for the info!)

On the Bombcast Ryan Davis pitched the idea of a game about Abraham Lincoln called ''Lincoln Force'' this then inspired people to act as this was a real game and it became a meme. This thread is a great example on what I am talking about.

This particular meme formed when the crew were talking and joking about foreign video game journalists asking stupid and/or unanswerable questions about Tron: Evolution. So on the Bombcast Vinny was talking about dialogue options in Dragon Age 2 and Dragon Age: Origins. In Dragon Age 2, you can now talk to your party members so they will tell you a little bit more about what your talking about, however in Dragon Age Origins they would just be all like ''I'm a Wizard, at that looks fucked up!''. So as Vinny jokingly said that the rest of the crew started laughing about it, etc.

Rider Meet Horse, Horse Meet Rider
In the quicklook of Motion Sports for Kinect, Ryan and Jeff try out some horse riding. The controls aren't very response so it messes them up and causes them to fail the activity. The commentator, after every time they fail to jump a hurdle says ''Rider Meet Horse, Horse Meet Rider''. It happens so often he says this, it is hilarious and I mean fucking hilarious so it became a meme.
So rider, have you met horse yet? How is he?
Cool Baby
Cool baby came from the babysitting mama segment of the 11/18/10 happy hour. They checked the game out and it was hilarious. They put sunglasses on the doll included with the game and from being simple baby, it became Cool baby! He also now appears in TNT and Happy Hour.

Coming from Dave snider's blog, a photo of him looking hardcore emerged. Due to it's easily exploitable nature, it was used in various photoshops and was used as users avatars to celebrate his birthday.

Two game trailers at E3 2011 used the song Power by Kayne West, Saints Row The Third and Forza 4, Jeff and Ryan were talking about it with Jeff tweeting ''NO ONE TRAILER SHOULD HAVE ALL THIS POWER''. User DG991 made a thread asking for official and non official trailers using the song and the thread blew up when a link to it was put on the front page and was tweeted about.
