Most Underrated Games of 2007/2008?

So I noticed there's an overrated games thread but no underrated games thread, so here we go.  Use this space to extol the virtues of games no one else seems to care about.

For 2007, I offer up God of War II.  It was well-received critically when it was released, but I feel like it got overshadowed by a lot of other titles that year just because it was on the PS2 and not a current-gen console.  God of War II was crazy awesome.

As for 2008, the only games I've really played are GTA IV and Metal Gear Solid 4, and I don't really think I can claim either of those were underrated.

God Of War 2 wasn't underrated at all, it received mostly superb scores. And in my opinion, it completely deserves them. It may be awesome, but it isn't ''perfect''.

The most underrated game of last year was R&C:FToD. That game was/is amazing, its still my favorite PS3 game to date.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot
This game was phenomenal, but it kind of flew under teh radar for most gamers...

Silverfall.

Zack and Wiki, and Boom Blox were both good games, but no one seemed to give them a chance.

I agree with Tovan52; I thought Zack & Wiki was a great game. Out of the Wii games I own, it has the overall best use of waggle.

Personally I've been having a great time with Endless Ocean on Wii - feel like I'm on my own there :).

It's impossible for it to be otherwise, sadly, seeing as it was meant to be mostly just the PS2's swan song, and to build up some hype for GoW3.

The Witcher.

Sure, it had it's problems, but it's still a kickass game - horribly underrated.

Although Uncharted sold pretty well over time, I still think it was underrated.

I think Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank Future both suffered from being released right in the middle of a glut of incredible games.  It's too bad, because from what I hear, they're both pretty great.

Ratchet was really underated.

The Witcher :D Play it.

Ratchet & Clank: ToD isn't that underrated. I've played through the whole thing, and it's safe to say it doesn't live up to the standards set by previous entries, such as Up Your Arsenal. That one will always remain my all time favorite.
