I realize it's not a huge thing, but now it's going to bother me every time I see that specific phrase used. I wish I wasn't such an insufferable pedant D:
Oh God, I just realized the redundancy of "DLC content"
I generally ignore it, however it's pretty funny when you hear people say that and you try to correct them but they think they're saying it right.
Most people just say downloadable content anyways.

Yeah, and I suppose you could make a stretch of an argument to justify "DLC content" as valid if you take "downloadable content" as one discrete package, and the second "content" as a descriptor for the actual assets within that package.

Better than DLC non-content, which is all too common these days.

Still better than ATM machine.
I'd better get some money from the ATM machine so I can buy a PSN Network card, and buy some DLC content.
Just looked this up and it has a pretty interesting Wikipedia page which offer these two examples that have yet to be mentioned: LCD display and PIN number. Oh god! It's everywhere!
Edit: ISBN number, HIV virus, UPC code, DVD disc, MIDI interface, RAM memory, RPG game, LAN network... My brain hurts.

These are all redundancies I have never realized before, now it's going to bug me too. Thanks a lot.
Make sure at the ATM Machine your PIN Number is correct.

I'm sick of "digital downloads."
How are those analog downloads treating you?
This.
I hate that term so much.

The antenna I have on my roof works okay, but sometimes during storms I only get about 20KB/s. My wife uses a bunny-ear antenna. Sometimes she gets 75KB/s when she moves the aluminum foil in just the right spot.

NIC Card
I always thought that was a network interface controller. Wikipedia seems to agree with me and as we all know it's never wrong.
They also say known as Network Interface Card. I always refer to the card itself when working with it physically. Other than that I just say NIC. All just depends on the context I suppose.
I got to the ATM Machine to check by balance so I can buy DLC Content. I sure hope I remember my PIN Number.

DC Comics is worse.Oh shit that is terrible.
I don't know if it's the case with DC, but I'm pretty sure it's not uncommon for companies to make their initials into the actual name (like how 3M doesn't really stand for Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing any more). If that's the case, then DC would no longer really stand for "Detective Comics," it would just stand for "DC." So DC Comics could work if that's what happened.
