Old Scanlon box-art

I was recently inspired by this video to get creative and make a super dumb thing of my own in anticipation of Metal Gear Scanlon 4.

So in photoshop, I basically used this photo of Drew as the base layer and warped the U.S MSG4 box-art to match up with the image. The end result is, uh...yeah it's freaky.

Oh and I ripped the cover title text from the MGScanlon 4: Loading video.

is there a flag for this art being awesome? I want to flag this art for being god damn rad.

I'm really conflicted about this.

On the one hand, photoshopping Drew's face into the MGS4 boxart is well done and awesome. The little easter eggs are also great.

On the other hand, this is uncanny and kind of freaks me out!

But Drew's hair is much longer and his beard much fuller right now. Looks like Old Man Scanlon actually groomed himself a bit more in his old age.

It scares me how well done this is, specially having in mind how low-res Drew's base photo was.

@johnymyko: It was actually a fairly painless process despite the low-res base layer photo. Almost everything you see was sourced from the MGS4 boxart, and it was mostly just a matter of warping Snake's face to match Drew's. The only tricky part was the nose...

Amazing 'chop work. Did you just mask the hell out of it or is there some outside render program you used cause it has that perfectly not quite real, kinda plastic looking skin effect as MGS4!

@humanity: No rendering required, almost every part of the face was copied->pasted->warped from the original MSG4 box-art!

@sanj: Great job either way, I appreciated the finer details like DMX Goomba as well.
